Licensed Duty Managers

Only licensed Duty Managers can supervise a licensed brothel. Duty Managers applications are assessed by the PLA (Prostitution Licensing Authority) for eligibility and suitability.

The requirements to be met are set in out in s.42 of the Prostitution Act. You must first complete the application form located on their website and have all the relevant information required by the PLA. The application must be submitted in full with the according fees, a senior first aid certificate and appropriate identification. Details can be found in full on the PLA website – www.pla.qld.gov.au

A minimum of 1 approved manager has to be on shift when a licensed brothel is open. In the absence of the licensee, an approved duty manager is responsible for the supervision of a licensed brothel and to ensure that all practices are in accordance with the guidelines of the Prostitution Act 1999, the Prostitution Regulation 2000, the conditions of the brothel licence, and any other relevant legislative requirements.

Receptionists

This role also requires an individual who is hardworking, punctual and self-confident, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Your ability to multi-task effectively is crucial. You will frequently be the first point of contact for Cleos on Nile clientele, so skills including superior dictation, a polite telephone manner and charisma are vital. An important facet of the night receptionist’ duties involves liaising with visitors to the brothel (mostly gentlemen).

The night receptionist must be open-minded and have the ability to relate to a broad range of people, including the working ladies of Cleos on Nile. Management experience is also a prerequisite of the night manager’s role, ensuring that a happy, enjoyable, safe environment is maintained on a consistent basis.

Safety and security of the ladies, clients and premises is your main objective. On occasion you may be required to solve problems, resolve complaints, and mediate between the ladies and the clients.

You must be able to confidently liaise with enquiries from clients regarding the brothel. Secondly, computer literacy is a must. From time-to-time you will also be required to assist with counter sales for the Adult Retail Store. In addition, you will experience firsthand a diverse range of scenarios where problem solving and mediation between our staff and clients is a necessity.
